Dear Lisa,
Congratulations on your Chamber award and the nice write up in the paper. The article was very nice and deserving. Just yesterday morning my wife and I were discussing you. She said she might want to get you involved in something (I don't remember what) that she is doing. I was bragging to her on your good work that you did for KAHC. I told her how amazed we were at your first presentation to us, that you really did not know a whole lot about our industry but had obviously put in a lot of time learning and putting together some great material to present to us.
You are very talented and do a great job and know how to meet your customers demands. You certainly are deserving of the Small Business of the Year Award. Again, congratulations.
Sincerely,
David Curry
Congratulations on the ADDY award! You deserve it; you do great work and it is our pleasure to work with all of your people.

I once saw Lisa Davis negotiate a lease that had the real estate agent staring open-mouthed as the landlord signed on the dotted line. I saw her sell creative to three government committees, all men, and get a standing ovation for her work. On several Saturdays I saw Lisa at her new offices, painting walls, laying tile and plumbing toilets. And one quiet February afternoon, shortly after winning several awards and giving her staff the rest of the day off, I asked her what she was going to do. She picked up a hammer and said, "Go hang those awards".

Lisa,
What a pleasant surprise to open the morning paper to see you at your desk in full color being recognized as the Small Business of the Year by our chamber.
Probably the best thing about the article is that the reporter did not find some way to pin you with some negative aspect to taint the story.
And, you got a plug in for our ad club. Thanks.
I couldn't be prouder of anyone for the personal and business accomplishments that you have caused to happen for yourself.
I look forward to working with you for many years to build a better environment for advertising through our ad club and to make advertising better in this market.
Hopefully, this recognition will help your agency to gain some new business.
Keep looking ahead,
Tom Baker
